In the wake of the success of Fez Fast Fashion in June, AMITH, the Moroccan Association of Textile and Apparel Industries, which has 750 members, is preparing a new activity in its international launch programme for the sector in collaboration with Maroc Export or the Moroccan Centre for Export Promotions. This time the event will take place in Casablanca, the country’s financial capital.
Conceived as a double event, it will be open from 10 to 12 October and will be called Maroc in Mode & Sourcing. The 200 exhibitors will include firms that manufacture their own brands and others who produce garments for third parties.
There will also be exhibitors from numerous European equipment, materials and systems suppliers to the national industry. The Erum Group will be there as a plastic hanger supplier, as well as being the official sponsor of the event.
The Maroc in Mode & Sourcing trade fair will be held in the Exchange Office Conference & Exhibition Centre, a familiar venue to many clients in the Moroccan textile sector, which will make it possible to combine time at the trade fair with visits to factories.
