On 29 April, the mayor of Ibi, Rafael Serralta, Industry minister, Gloria Llinares, and the Director General of Industry and Director of the IVACE, Joaquín Ríos, visited “ACTECO”, Erum Group’s environmental company.
ATECO is among Spain’s and Europe’s most advanced recycling plants. It currently has capacity to handle five tons/hour and five shredding lines which are used to produce pencils, parts for furniture, automobile and electricity, plant pots and garment hangers.
The mayor of Ibi congratulated the firm’s manager and workers on their excellent plant and its advanced technologies. He also made mention of the value of this business to society, which not only helps to protect the environment but also helps disadvantaged people. The company donates some of its products to caring for disabled people by sponsoring sheltered housing.
Joaquín Ríos said that this company is a symbol of innovation, growth and internalisation, also remarking on its investments in technology, differentiation and internationalisation. This is evident in the fact that in the last seven years it has multiplied exports by ten and doubled sales.
