The Valencian Association of Plastics Entrepreneurs (AVEP) grants its highest award to the figure of Juan Manuel Erum, for a lifetime promoting the sector
The general director of the Erum Group, Juan Manuel Erum, has been recognized with the 2023 “Granza de Oro” award, awarded by the professionals of the Valencian Association of Plastics Entrepreneurs (AVEP), for a lifetime dedicated to the development and promotion of the plastic sector. From the origins of the company, until today, Juan Manuel Erum has managed to position the Erum corporation as a world leader in products such as the coat hanger, of which more than 900 million units are produced worldwide each year, with 22 production centers. management and production around the world, and more than 3,000 collaborators on four continents.

Juan Manuel Erum is part of the third generation of the family at the head of the company, to which he has dedicated more than 40 years of his professional life. During this time, he has worked on the development of new plastic products, a material that is basic in our society today. His vision of sustainability and his concern for the environment led him to commit, 25 years ago, to environmental management, creating companies and global circular economy models, such as the RTS (Return to Source) for the recycling of thousands of tons of plastic material, with which it is possible to manufacture products that are more respectful of the planet, such as recycled hangers, where the Erum Group is a benchmark.

The delivery of the 2023 “Granza de Oro” to Juan Manuel Erum will be held on October 25 in Valencia, within the events scheduled at the XXI Annual Meeting of the Plastics Sector, organized by AVEP and AIMPLAS, with the assistance of authorities and businessmen in the sector.
